The challenge

A ground-floor medical or dental suite has a privacy problem that most retail does not. Anyone walking past the glass can see people in a clinical setting, which patients notice and dislike. The obvious fixes make it worse: blinds make a waiting room feel closed and institutional, and darker glass makes an already small frontage feel like a shut door.

What we did

Film on the entry and frontage glazing to cut the daytime view in while keeping the interior bright. That combination is the whole point for a practice — you want it to look open and well-lit from the street, because a dark clinic reads as closed, while the people inside want to be screened from the parking lot.

The result

The frontage looks open and lit from outside, patients are screened from casual view, and the entrance runs cooler through the afternoon without the practice resorting to blinds.
