Frosted Film Across a Department Store Frontage
Big retail frontage, and a need to control what shoppers see through it at street level without turning the entrance into a dark box.

The challenge
A department store entrance is a wall of glass, and not all of what sits behind it is meant to be part of the display. Stock areas, back-of-house edges and service zones end up visible from the sidewalk. Blocking them with panels or vinyl kills the daylight the entrance depends on and looks temporary.
What we did
We ran frosted film across the panels that needed screening. Frost diffuses light instead of blocking it: you lose the view through, you keep the brightness. It reads as an intentional architectural finish rather than something taped up, and it goes on the existing glass with no alteration to the storefront.
The result
The frontage screens what needed screening at eye level and still floods the entrance with daylight. From the sidewalk the treatment looks like part of the building rather than a fix applied to it.
