The challenge

Retail glazing has competing demands stacked vertically. The lower panels sit at eye level for anyone on the sidewalk and want screening. The middle band is prime brand real estate. The upper glass needs to stay clear so the floor gets daylight. Treating the whole frontage one way fails at least two of those.

What we did

We treated the frontage in bands. Frosted film across the lower panels for screening, the branded graphic band through the middle, and clear glass left above so daylight still reaches the sales floor. Each band does one job, and because it is all film on the existing glass it can be changed later without touching the storefront itself.

The result

The frontage screens at the height it needs to, carries the brand at the height people read, and stays bright at the top. It reads as designed rather than assembled.
